batten down the hatches

VIEW FROM MY OFFICE WINDOW

So, storm Ciara is giving us a beating here in the U.K. There is a lot to be said for having a home office. The year is only just begun… well okay, we are 6 weeks into 2020. For those who have suffered from Ciara’s destructive winds and lashing rain, I hope you are all safe and well. We have had winds of 80 to 100 mph and today the winds are picking up again. I am keeping a keen eye on the tall trees in the copse opposite my office.

At last, most of the files are now up to date. There is a couple that need attention such as the complex mechanisms on the labyrinth door, which I’m not going to deny is going to be a headache to say the least. I have done a rough draft and the way the cogs turn actually work. So that’s a big plus. There are a couple of pieces of concept art to do which shouldn’t take too long. So I’m very happy with where I am at. I am on target.

With this all done, I am back to writing the storyline. The file updates were necessary before I could continue. Yes, Issue 12 will soon be available. It won’t be long before Deena and Dan tackle the labyrinth door. With rune inscriptions to decipher, will they work out the riddle to be able to open it? What exactly is the labyrinth? It certainly isn’t of this world. How is this even possible? I can’t wait to write this.

I will keep you all updated.

Love and light to you all.
